Sky Remote Control Trouble Shooting  

1.Check the buttons and batteries

Make sure there is no stuck buttons on the Sky Q remote. In case of any stuck, push and move the button to release it.

If you’re still facing the problems, replacing the batteries in the remote. Then, press ? on your remote. If the LED light flash? Great. If it doesn’t, you might need to skip to the end of these instructions and contact us to replace your remote.

2.Check the box

If your remote still having problems , please check if there's a problem with the Sky Q box.

Please press the standby button on the front panel of the Sky Q box. The light may turn from green to amber, or from red or amber to green.

If there is no any response, your box seems to be stuck in standby. Please contact us for more help.

3.Re-pair the remote

To pair your remote,please follow below steps:

Hold down 1 and 3 together

Select Continue and enter the brand of your TV

Select Find it for me

Press the volume buttons on the Sky Q remote to see if this changes to volume on your TV. No luck? Select No, try another one until you the right setting be found.

If it still don’t work, please hold down 7 and 9 until the remote's light flashes 4 times to factory reset the remote and try the steps again.

Once you can using your Sky Q remote to change the volume , finish the pairing process:

If you have a speaker or Sky Soundbox, select Yes , follow the instructions.

If you don't have a Soundbox or speaker. Select No and select Finish.

4.Restart the Sky Q box

a. Please press Standby button on the Sky Q remote and switch off or unplug at the mains.

b. To see there's no lights on the front panel of your Sky Q box and cables are definitely connected.

c. Plug in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.

d. Press the standby/power button to turn the TV back on.

e. Wait, if the on-screen instructions disappear, press Home on the Sky Q remote.
